St. Arnold’s Park was laid out at the end of the 19th century after several miraculous healings had reportedly taken place. A chapel was built, and the park was enriched with artificial rocks, ponds, fountains, footpaths and a sunbathing area. Especially the typically Belgian concrete rock gardens are worth the while.
The park continues to attract pilgrims today, but walkers and nature lovers definitely like it here as well. There is also a playground for children.
